Wow! A whole year went by without a website update. Lots of things have happened. I have officially moved back to the USA (my guitar amps are now operating on 120 v rather than the European 240 volts). I am still teaching on Skype, at Acoustic Artisans in Portland Maine, and also through 317 Main St. Community Music Center in Yarmouth.

The summer went by too fast.

In June and July I was able to visit Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, and Iceland. I made it back for some Bluegrass Festivals in the US. Since the return, I have had gigs with 25 different bands. It has been a whirlwind summer, and I am very much looking forward to the fall. I hope to resume teaching more regularly and developing some weekly gigs in the Portland Maine area.

I am also available for gigs and fill in's, recording sessions, jam hosting, house concerts, and private lessons on both guitar and banjo.

I'm looking forward to reconnecting with musicians in the area, so if you want to play, get better, record, gig, or hang out and geek out to some good music, get in touch!

Thanks for checking out the new site. I am looking forward to a busy fall. I am using this site as a portfolio and resumé for my musical endeavors. If you have questions about bookings, lessons, music, or anything else you can find several ways to get in touch. I have been writing and playing a lot and am looking forward to building more connections and relationships in the European music community in 2010.

In addition to guitar and banjo lessons in Rotterdam, I am going to be offering lessons via Skype. I have also been transcribing lots of music that I hope to share on this site. The 2009 release Brokedown Breakdown by Hamilton County is now available internationally. I am very excited about the things that have been happening to my music and am making plans to record another album in 2011.
